About
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Wet/damp. Odours. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Installing machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
