In this role, you will take the lead on electrical design for a diverse portfolio of building projects across the residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. You'll collaborate closely with their talented electrical engineering and design team to deliver high-quality permit and construction drawing packages, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards and complies with all relevant codes.

Responsibilities
◾Lead the entire electrical design process for a variety of building projects (e.g., residential, commercial, institutional).
◾Prepare and rigorously review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and system layouts.
◾Coordinate design activities closely with internal engineering disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil) and external stakeholders (architects, clients, authorities).
◾Ensure full compliance with relevant electrical and building codes and standards (e.g., OESC, OBC, CSA).
◾Manage project timelines, deliverables, and overall quality assurance for electrical components.
◾Provide essential technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate electrical designers.
◾Participate in necessary site reviews, inspections, and construction administration activities.
Qualifications
◾Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
◾Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation (or eligibility for designation) is strongly preferred.
◾Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience specifically in building electrical systems design.
◾High proficiency with design software, including AutoCAD and Revit, as well as electrical calculation software (e.g., AGi32).
◾Project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
