Our DTS (Tech) Year in Industry Programme aims to compliment your studies and accelerate your development - hopefully setting you up for a limitless career in technology whilst being part of our award-winning tech team. Your placement will be within one of our technology teams, supporting a key area of our business such as Web & mobile app development, Core application development, Cloud platform/network engineering, Data engineering and Data science Information/cyber security technology No DTS or Tech experience? No problem. We’ve got plenty to go around and can’t wait to share it with you. You will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into.  At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship. While we support flexible working across the business, our summer interns are based full-time, predominantly in our London/Berkshire office to maximise learning, connection, and development. If that sounds like you, here’s what we’re looking for: Predicted minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM subject (2:2 if combined with a Master’s) Willing to relocate and try new things Someone with great initiative and problem-solving skills Someone with an understanding of Agile practices and methods to deliver value for our customers Have the right to work in the UK Available to start the programme from 16th June 2026 Here’s what's in it for you You’ll be paid a salary of £24,000 with a £2,000 welcome bonus Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your internship if required Based on your performance you will also have the chance to earn a place on our 2027 Graduate programme following your final year of university.
