Job Description: We’re looking for a Domestic Specialist to play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll provide essential daily operational support that ensures cost effective merchandise movement from Domestic Ports of Entry to our Distribution Centers. Discover innovative amenities at our eco-friendly corporate office, along with the flexibility and balance of our hybrid work model What You’ll Do: Ensure efficient flow management by overseeing container movement from ports and rail terminals to the appropriate Distribution Centers, resolving routine data or operational issues using established business rules and SOPs. Manage exceptions for containers and transload operations by identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues as needed, while maintaining accurate updates on containers and POs and recommending process improvements. Monitor Service Provider performance against contractual KPIs, addressing issues promptly and suggesting opportunities to improve overall flow efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with internal and external partners—including Home Office teams, Distribution Services, Loss Prevention, Regional Leadership, Vendors, and Carriers—to ensure seamless execution of shipment programs. Leverage your domain expertise to analyze shipping performance, interpret trends, assess risks and opportunities, and create clear, actionable reports (KPIs, operational summaries, etc.) with recommendations for management review. About You: Post secondary education in a related field (CITT designation is an asset) with 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Distribution Services, or Supply Chain. Strong understanding of transportation operations and merchandise flow from vendor to Distribution Centre, including managing shipping activities and delivery reporting. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to manage conflict, gather information, and build collaborative relationships across internal and external partners. A clear and confident communicator, skilled in problem solving, written communication, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. Highly organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office—especially intermediate Excel—with strong analytical skills to interpret data and support operational decisions.
