Currently involved in some of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects, ACCIONA delivers solutions that contribute to the economic and social progress of the communities in which it operates. www.acciona.ca As part of a global talent search, ACCIONA Infrastructure North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Document Control Coordinator to join one of our major infrastructure projects based in Toronto, Ontario. The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization, tracking, and maintenance of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that all project records are properly controlled, distributed, and archived in accordance with established procedures. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and maintaining document control procedures to support efficient document management. Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports. Maintain version control and document logs to ensure accurate tracking and easy retrieval of information. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with document standards and timelines. Support document approval workflows and ensure proper authorization and sign-off of project records. Conduct periodic quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation. Provide guidance and training to team members on document control systems and best practices. Other duties as related to the role Required Skills and Competencies Qualifications & Skills: Prior experience in a document control or administrative support role, ideally within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Procore, or similar). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with document control standards and procedures. Key Competencies: Knowledge of digital filing systems and document versioning. Ability to troubleshoot basic document-related issues and inconsistencies. Time management and prioritization skills.
