• Job Description
• This is a Monday to Friday Dayshift 7:00 AM To 3:30 PM
• Tracing of Freight involves looking for missing freight, researching Proof of Delivery (POD) and Bill of Lading (B/L) documents, and determining the exact delivery time for shipments.
• Requests by customers and terminals via phone calls or emails
• Gathering information on shortages, no pros, no goods, etc, and finding common issues to report to the Terminal Manager.
• Calling the customer with exceptions to verify possible damages, shortages, re-routing, and various other duties as requested by the customer regarding delivery problems.
• Obtaining return authorizations from customers or authorizations to reroute or re-deliver as required. Obtaining phone numbers, confirming terms, etc.
• Camera checks for missing freight
• Answering emails within 45 minutes
• Dealing with upset customers
