Job Overview

The Stock Market, located in the Granville Island Public Market, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. We make fresh soups, stocks, gourmet dressings, butters, and more — and you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Keep dish area and kitchen surfaces clean and organized
• Assist with basic food prep if needed
• Provide clean dishes and tools quickly to support kitchen staff
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to the manager
• Work as part of a team during busy service times

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to stay positive and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a good attitude

Pay: $17.85 per hour
