- Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field Registered Professional Planner (RPP), Professional Engineer (P.Eng. ), or equivalent certification 15+ years of relevant planning or engineering experience, including leadership in developing and implementing transportation solutions for sustainable programs Recognized expert in transportation planning or engineering with a well-established professional network Proven project success on medium-sized projects or portions of large projects, including effective direction of project teams for project execution Strategic problem-solving skills and advanced technical knowledge in transportation planning or engineering Strong professional consulting skills, including project management, client relationship management, and commercial acumen at senior management levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop and deliver professional presentations Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently Experience leading multidisciplinary transportation projects for municipal clients Experience winning and leading major projects Familiarity with emerging trends in transportation, connected infrastructure, and climate-resilient transportation systems Understanding of BC and AB public and private sector client needs and policies
