Position Summary
The successful candidate for this full-time, permanent position will provide advice and assistance to all stakeholders regarding health recovery and return to work processes.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- performing disability case management and facilitating the return to work of employees who are away from work due to illness or injury
- providing advice and assistance with establishing health recovery goals and objectives
- developing and monitoring individual return to work plans
- recommending workplace modification options
- facilitating referrals and follow-up
- facilitating regular, open communication between stakeholders including union representatives
- providing support to the employee and family members regarding health recovery issues
Education/Qualifications
- undergraduate degree in Disability Management or a related field
- a minimum of three years related experience
- currency with health recovery trends
- knowledge of WCB processes
- knowledge of education or public sector systems is an asset
- strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
- excellent problem solving, consultation and communication skills
- the ability to work in a high volume environment with tight timelines
Rate of Pay
$47.77 - $61.05 per hour
