Role Description

This role involves supporting the crucial mission of improving health outcomes at Merative. The Director, HR Business Partner position will:

  • Support the business function HR strategic plan and HR initiatives based on assigned business units.
  • Formulate partnerships across the HR COEs to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees.
  • Support business units through transition and next stages of M&A.
  • Lead HR strategy for business change and transformation – divestitures, spin-offs, consolidations, etc.
  • Drive change management and adoption, including communication execution and practical tools/tactics to support leaders.
  • Drive organizational design and optimization, ensuring structure aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Provide executive coaching and leadership support to senior leaders.
  • Participate in the execution and implementation of strategic HR programs.
  • Drive and execute a talent strategy aligned to company priorities and goals.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop effective solutions, programs, and policies that meet client needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to business unit leaders and managers.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 8 - 10+ years of HR experience, with a focus on implementing and supporting Global HR programs.
  • Prior experience in HR in a private equity owned company and/or organizations going through significant change.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with global HR operations, particularly in North America, Ireland, and India.
  • Ability to provide HR consultation to executives through first line managers on strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively supporting multiple Global business leaders with differing needs and expectations.
  • Ability to guide and support leaders and employees through change initiatives in a complex environment.
  • Expert ability to apply multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in M365 products, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to prioritize and manage many initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
