  • Job Description
  • This role provides global leadership and oversight for compensation program, policies and strategies for Raffles and Fairmont hotels, while leading and serving as the subject matter expert for compensation programs and practices across Accor’s North American support functions (US/Canada). Partnering closely with global People and Culture leaders and the Central Recognition team, this position is essential to advancing the People & Culture strategy by ensuring compensation programs are competitive with the market, compliant with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and aligned internally.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Raffles & Fairmont Hotels (Global)
  • Oversee compensation programs for 110+ luxury and ultra-luxury properties worldwide.
  • Lead and manage the full Raffles & Fairmont compensation cycle, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones through collaboration and relevant communication to stakeholders.
  • Drive the Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) processes in partnership with the People & Culture Operations teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for salaried compensation-related matters globally, collaborating with local People & Culture and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Manage participation in key salary surveys, prepare market analyses and salary ranges, and respond to ad hoc market data requests.

Accor North America’s support functions (USA/Canada)

  • Provide compensation leadership for 270+ employees across US and Canada within all Accor’s Divisions and Brands.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and key advisor to People & Culture leaders across brands and divisions on compensation practices and market benchmarking for support function roles.
  • Lead the STIP process end-to-end, including goal setting, administration, approvals, and award processing, collaborating with brand/division leaders and corporate finance on incentive accruals.
  • Oversee Long-Term Incentive (LTI) plan administration in coordination with the Paris office.
  • Coordinate participation in salary surveys, generate market summaries, and deliver insights on compensation trends.
  • Manage compensation-related technology projects, applications, and data collection efforts.
  • Develop, analyze, and present compensation data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions. Use advanced Excel skills or compensation-specific software to identify trends and benchmark results.
  • Qualifications
  • University/college degree or diploma in finance, accounting, management, HR or equivalent. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role directly supporting the compensation process in a global environment.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or working towards certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity of applicable terminology, concepts and outcomes for successfully managing the compensation process. Extensive experience with job evaluation and job structure is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively across functions and globally including strong communication organization and prioritization leading to high quality output, meeting deadlines and building trust.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to express compensation concepts, terms and related information in a succinct, understandable and professional manner.
  • Strongly detail-focused and able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
