  • We’re looking for an experienced People and Culture Director who will serve as a strategic partner to Firm leadership and a trusted advisor on all people-related matters. Recognizing that our people are our greatest asset, you will shape strategies and practices that strengthen engagement, accountability, and long-term commitment across the Firm. You will lead and develop a team of six professionals who support the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to development, retention, and employee relations, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality People and Culture services across the Firm.

You will be Accountable for

  • • Developing and leading People & Culture strategies aligned with the Firm’s business objectives, values, and long-term growth
  • • Overseeing campus and experienced talent acquisition and the employee onboarding experience
  • • Leading and evolving performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • • Serving as a strategic advisor to Firm leadership and Partners on employment and labour law matters, providing expert guidance on risk, compliance, and best practices
  • •Leading the people strategy for periods of growth and transition, including the integration of new teams to ensure cultural alignment, operational continuity, and a consistent employee experience
  • • Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, retention, and disciplinary processes
  • • Leading compensation strategy and implementation, including salary reviews, equity analysis, and job evaluations
  • • Identifying opportunities to enhance HRIS functionality to support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
  • • Partnering with Firm leadership to address organizational and departmental development needs
  • • Supporting initiatives related to change management, culture, leadership, team development, and employee experience
  • • Championing a positive and inclusive work environment through transparent communication and strong leadership practices
  • • Leading, coaching, and developing the People & Culture team, fostering a culture of mentorship, continuous learning, and high-quality service to the Firm that supports team members’ growth and success

The Qualifications That Count

  • • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive People and Culture experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with direct people management responsibility and demonstrated impact across employee relations, talent acquisition, HR programs, and compensation and benefits.
  • • Experience in professional services or accounting Firms is a strong asset
  • • CHRP or CHRL designation preferred • Strong working knowledge of Quebec and Ontario employment and labour legislation, and the ability to apply it in a practical, advisory context.
  • • Strategic and innovative People & Culture thinker with intellectual curiosity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to use data and insight to drive meaningful HR initiatives
  • • Exceptional communicator and collaborator, able to influence with credibility, resolve conflict with flexibility and tact, and build strong relationships across the Firm.
  • • A confident and inspiring leader with strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with agility.
  • • Bilingualism (French and English), required
