Immediate Start - DevOps Engineer for Keycloak SaaS Platform We run a managed Keycloak identity platform serving clients globally. I need an experienced DevOps engineer to take over immediately to keep pushing things forward. Your First Week: Review and optimize our Terraform infrastructure across 4 AWS regions Set up monitoring/alerting for our Keycloak clusters Make our Keycloak Kubenetes operator HA Fix some infrastructure errors What You'll Own: Multi-region AWS infrastructure running Keycloak clusters Kubernetes/EKS clusters with multiple services Terraform infrastructure-as-code Incident response and on-call duties Performance optimization and cost reduction Handle incoming tickets to help customers with errors Technical Requirements: ✓ Years managing production Kubernetes clusters ✓ Strong Terraform experience with AWS ✓ Experience with identity management systems (Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar) ✓ PostgreSQL/RDS administration ✓ Monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana Nice to Have: Keycloak operational experience Go programming (we have a custom operator) Istio service mesh Multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure Work Arrangement: ~20 hours/week to start Flexible timezone (we need coverage, so Europe, Asia, or Americas work) Direct communication with founder (no layers of management) Async-first communication via Slack Weekly sync calls What Makes You Successful: You use AI tools to be more productive You can work independently with minimal supervision You take ownership and proactively fix issues before they become problems You document everything clearly You're comfortable handling the infrastructure and be ready to fix it when incidents arise You can handle on-call responsibilities To Apply - Please Include: Describe your experience with Keycloak or similar identity platforms Share AI tools you use or would like US to pay for you (including the plan) Share an example of production Kubernetes infrastructure you've managed (scale, complexity) Your hourly rate and availability to start Your timezone and preferred working hours Link to GitHub or examples of your Terraform/IaC code Important: Generic proposals or AI generated replies will be ignored.
