Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting early childhood development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The Daycare Teacher Assistant will work closely with children, parents, and staff to provide a positive learning experience.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities as required.

Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
• Previous experience in daycare settings or babysitting roles is highly valued.
• Ability to create engaging activities that foster learning in preschool-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records.
• Compassionate caregiving skills to ensure the emotional well-being of all students.
