Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic convenience storeteam. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, maintaining store operations, and promoting our products and services through effective communication and upselling techniques.
We are hiring for a full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be available to work during lunch rush hours and night shifts.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, in person, or through other channels, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information about store products, services, and promotions.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
- Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of customer transactions and store operations.
- Engage in upselling by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant products.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and ensure displays are properly arranged.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline store processes.
- Analyze customer feedback and purchasing patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in training new team members on store protocols and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in a convenience store or similar setting.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Experience with upselling or retail sales is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working lunch rush hours and night shifts.
- Excellent phone and in-person communication etiquette.
- Availability for 30–40 hours per week.
