Job Details Job Title: Customer Analytics (Pricing Strategy) Job Location: Client HQ in Mississauga, Canada About the role: Are you passionate about translating data into strategic insights that influence high-stakes business decisions? We’re seeking a Consultant – Customer Analytics to join our team and provide strategic insights into our client’s pricing approach. The client, a leading retailer, is looking to refine their pricing strategy through data-driven recommendations that enhance revenue, elevate the customer experience, and deliver measurable business impact. What You’ll Do As a key partner in the client's pricing transformation journey, you will: Collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders to understand pricing challenges and provide actionable, data-driven solutions. Work on high-visibility projects that influence strategic pricing decisions, customer price perception, and overall category performance. Harness structured and unstructured data across multiple systems to solve complex pricing and business problems. Integrate and streamline large datasets to build cohesive, scalable solutions. Design impactful dashboards and reports that answer core business questions and drive insights-based decision-making. Prioritize and handle pricing-related analytical requests, create delivery plans, and ensure timely, high-quality outputs. Define scope, success metrics, and project outcomes to measure the impact of pricing interventions. Lead end-to-end engineering: Architect and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses/marts, and data lakes to support scalable analytics. Continuously optimize and evolve data integration processes, applying best practices in code versioning, deployment automation, and CI/CD for data pipelines. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, and standardize engineering and analytics processes to ensure long-term scalability and collaboration. What You Bring We’re looking for someone who can blend technical excellence with business acumen: 3-4 years experience in delivering analytics or BI solutions - experience in Retail or Pricing Analytics is highly preferred. Strong skills in SQL and big data tools like Google BigQuery, HIVE, or equivalent platforms. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience building scalable ETL/ELT workflows and working with data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes. Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control (e.g., Git), and automation tools. High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to explain complex analytics to non-technical collaborators. Analytical approach with an interest in creative problem solving Proven experience working with global teams and managing delivery across on-site/offshore models. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, MIS, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred). The salary range for this role in Toronto is CAD 79,100- CAD 131,800.
