Project Overview We are launching ProteamJerseys.com, a dedicated platform for custom team jerseys — starting with hockey, baseball, and soccer. Our parent company already does high 6 figures annually in jersey sales, and this platform is how we scale that into a streamlined, self-serve experience. This is an end-to-end launch, not a partial build. You will be responsible for delivering a complete, conversion-ready, fully functioning website that: Looks clean and professional Has a fully working jersey designer tool Collects emails and tracks conversions properly Accepts real paid orders Is mobile-friendly and stable If additional help is needed (e.g., designer touch-ups), you will coordinate those integrations — but remain the accountable lead. Scope of Work 1️⃣ Shopify Storefront Implement fast, modern Shopify theme (can be based on a solid premium theme) Page set: Home Sport collection pages (Hockey, Baseball, Soccer) Product/Builder entry pages FAQ / Contact / About Smooth funnel into the customizer tool SEO essentials (titles, metas, alt tags) Launch-Ready tracking and marketing setup Google Analytics 4 + Tag Manager Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel for: Page View ViewContent AddToCart InitiateCheckout Purchase Email list capture connected to Shopify customer list All events tested and verified before launch 2️⃣ Custom Jersey Designer Tool You will implement based on our detailed technical specification: React + Next.js interface Canvas-based rendering of layered PNG jersey assets Color selection mapped to config rules Logo upload + scaling + placement rules Player name/number text rendering from config Roster input (manual + CSV) Save design → backend API Pricing refresh via pricing API This tool is config-driven, so adding templates later requires no major code rewrite. 3️⃣ Shopify Checkout Integration Add configured jersey to Shopify cart with: Base variant selection Quantity input Custom line item properties (Design ID, preview, etc.) Redirect to Shopify checkout Confirm that order → backend integration triggers production workflow What We Already Provide (so quoting is efficient and not inflated) Detailed technical spec for the entire customizer Project folder structure (frontend/backend/config/assets/scripts) API route and data model expectations Asset structure + naming conventions Template config JSON structure Pricing data structure UX flow documentation You are not designing the architecture — you are executing it. Technical Requirements Shopify Storefront API + checkout experience Advanced React + Next.js HTML5 Canvas & image manipulation REST API integration Real ownership of full launch (not just parts) Nice to have: Experience with configurators, custom apparel, or interactive product builders Timeline & Budget Timeline: 8–12 weeks Budget: $18K – $28K USD depending on approach, speed, and polish There is ongoing work after MVP (additional sports/templates, fanwear, sponsor placements, team stores, etc.).
