About
Virtual Assistant for Tiny Tapes (YouTube + Instagram + Creator Management) We’re looking for a highly organized and creative Virtual Assistant to help manage and grow our video editing brand, Tiny Tapes. You’ll be working directly with our founder, Jakob, helping to manage content, coordinate creators, and organize everything behind the scenes for our YouTube and Instagram channels. What You’ll Do: Manage and schedule YouTube and Instagram uploads Coordinate editors, creators, and affiliates Organize and manage the internal team (developers, editors, and marketing staff) Track weekly and monthly revenue, ad spend, and editing costs, and maintain an up-to-date spreadsheet for reporting Create clear reports and updates for Jakob based on team progress and business performance Research and reach out to UGC creators and editors Organize content ideas, reels, and tutorials in Notion (or your preferred workflow system) Write and schedule posts that match Tiny Tapes’ aesthetic Help with customer replies, DMs, and email follow-ups Requirements: Excellent written English Strong organizational and analytical skills (spreadsheets, reports, tracking metrics) Confident handling team communication, scheduling, and deadlines Comfortable working independently and managing multiple creative projects at once Proactive, reliable, and excited to grow with a creative brand Bonus if you: Know how to use Discord, Photoshop, or Premiere Pro Watch or follow editing YouTubers (Fred Pelle, Asim Nuwag, Gaku Lange, AcidBite, etc.) Have basic editing or thumbnail design skills Understand trends in the music-video editing and creator niche How to Apply (Read Carefully — Incomplete Applications Will Be Ignored) To apply, reply with everything below in ONE message. Any other type of message or missing info will be automatically ignored. Step 1: Initial Screening Form Answer these directly in your reply (short answers are fine): How many years of direct experience do you have as a virtual assistant or in a similar creative/marketing role? What is your current employment status? If you’re currently employed full-time and not planning to quit, or if you’re freelancing for multiple clients, you’ll be disqualified. Upload your resume/CV (or send a link). Run a speed test at https://www.speedtest.net/ and include your download/upload results (minimum 20 Mbps preferred). Come up with 3 YouTube video title and content ideas that you think would fit Tiny Tapes’ audience and brand. Keep them short, catchy, and realistic — the kind of videos you think we’d actually post. Step 2: Video Response (Required) Record a 2-minute video of yourself answering the questions below. You can use your phone or laptop — video quality doesn’t matter as long as you can be seen and heard clearly. Upload your video to Google Drive, Dropbox, or YouTube (unlisted) and send me the link when you’re done. ?? Important: You must record this yourself. The use of AI, ChatGPT, or scripted/generated answers means instant disqualification. Video Questions: What’s an accomplishment you’re proud of that’s not on your resume? What specific system or process have you created to stay organized in past roles, and how did you develop it? How would you handle customer support emails and send bugs or issues to the developer efficiently? How would you track ad spend, calculate profitability (after editor costs, marketing, and ads), and report that weekly or monthly? How would you create a task list and schedule for the team (developer, editors, etc.) and make sure everyone stays on time? What’s your ideal work setup and schedule? Why do you want to work with Tiny Tapes? After checking our YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@tinytapes2 ) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/tinytapes/ ), what stands out to you about our content and brand? Step 3: Interview + Paid Trial Week Top candidates will be invited to a short 15–20 minute Google Meet call to discuss the role and see how you communicate in real time. If it’s a good fit, you’ll start with a short paid trial week working directly with Jakob and the team before being fully onboarded into Discord. This process helps us find people who can think clearly, stay organized, and actually care about the work they do. Take your time, follow the steps carefully, and send everything in one message. Looking forward to seeing your application ???? — Jakob
