I’m looking for an experienced video editor to help finalize my online course using Descript. You’ll be working directly in my Descript project as a collaborator, editing raw lesson recordings into polished, professional modules. The content is educational (herbalism, natural health), and I value clean, natural pacing that feels authentic—not over-produced. Responsibilities: Edit videos directly in Descript (trimming, removing filler words, fixing pacing, adjusting audio levels, fixing some eye contact, and adding simple transitions). Insert titles, section headers, or text overlays as needed (I’ll provide the visual style). Balance sound levels and remove background noise when necessary. Export finished videos in the correct format for uploading to my course platform (WordPress). Maintain clear naming conventions and an organized file structure within Descript. Requirements: Proven experience editing in Descript. Attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent brand tone and feel. Strong communication and responsiveness. Comfortable handling multiple short videos (average 10–20 minutes each). Bonus: Familiarity with online course content or educational video editing. Project Scope & Terms: 6 modules / about 3-4 lessons, one-three videos each I’ll provide all assets: raw recordings, reference notes, and Descript project access.
