The Reward and Performance Partner supports the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees in North America. This role conducts data analysis, benchmarking, compliance monitoring, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals. This role’s primary focus will be the country of Canada but will have opportunities to participate in North American regional projects, initiative, and business partnering activities. Main Responsibilities Compensation: 60% Provides compensation analysis and benchmarking to support salary structure design, pay equity reviews, and market competitiveness analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and external trends. Interprets complex data sets to identify compensation trends, pay gaps, and workforce engagement drivers, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations. Partners cross-functionally with People Business Partners, People Excellence Teams, R&P Business Partners, and Finance Teams to administer compensation strategies in local pay practices, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives. Monitors market trends and regulatory changes to proactively recommend adjustments to compensation programs to ensure compliance with local and global standards. Supports annual compensation planning cycles through data preparation, grade evaluations, and stakeholder training, ensuring an efficient and effective process. As needed, partner with People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure compensation offers are aligned with internal equity and market competitiveness. Partner with People Excellence to complete job grade evaluations. Benefits: 40% Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, retirement, wellness, and leave policies. Liaise with vendors and brokers to ensure efficient delivery of benefits services. Monitor benefits utilization and provide recommendations for cost optimization and employee engagement. Support annual benefits renewal and biannual open enrollment processes. Partner with external consultants to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory filings (e.g., ESA, CRA, provincial/federal legislation). Continually analyze processes for efficiency opportunities, develop improvement plans, and lead the implementation. Partner with People Excellence Teams to resolve One Support inquiries regarding compensation and benefits in a timely and professional manner. Analytics & Reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on compensation and benefits metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic R&P decisions. Develops and delivers compelling presentations to stakeholders, simplifying complex compensation concepts and data into clear, business-relevant narratives. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews. Stakeholder Engagement: Support training and communication initiatives related to R&P programs. About You Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits analysis, preferably in large sized organization. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Visier, and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft). Excellent project management skills. Technology adept and can adapt technologies to improve processes. Knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and practices. Experience with job evaluation methodologies (e.g., point-factor systems, Hay) is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in highly matrixed organization. Preferred Certifications Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or working towards certification is preferred. CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation is helpful but not needed.
