Job Description: We’re a fast-growing Shopify-based fitness retailer looking for a skilled copywriter to create compelling, technically accurate product descriptions for our fitness equipment. Our goal is to boost conversions while maintaining trust through detailed, professional, and easy-to-understand product write-ups. What You’ll Do: Write clear, persuasive, and engaging product descriptions for a wide range of fitness equipment (dumbbells, barbells, racks, benches, etc.). Translate technical specifications into benefits-driven copy that resonates with both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts. Ensure all descriptions are SEO-friendly and optimized for Shopify’s product pages. Maintain consistent tone of voice aligned with our brand. Conduct research to ensure technical accuracy and highlight key features/benefits. Requirements: Proven experience writing e-commerce product descriptions (fitness or sporting goods background is a big plus). Strong understanding of fitness equipment and ability to communicate technical details in simple, benefit-driven language. Familiarity with Shopify product listings and SEO best practices. Excellent grammar, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Nice to Have: -Experience with conversion copywriting and A/B testing. -Knowledge of keyword research tools.
