- How does the role impact the organization?
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Coordinator in Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications & Marketing team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of communication strategies to engage our advisors and employees, provide everyday communications support for the department, and help raise our brand profile with a range of stakeholders. Your skills and passion for corporate communication, channel management, content planning, and storytelling will play a key role in shaping our corporate narrative and fostering trust with clients and the broader community. An understanding of the financial services industry is a plus but not a requirement.
- What will your role be responsible for?
Communication Strategy Support
- Assist in developing and executing corporate communication strategies aligned with business goals
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of communication initiatives to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
- Be accountable for channel management to ensure effective distribution of timely communications to desired audiences, including managing of distribution lists where appropriate; a working knowledge of common communications publishing platforms, or a strong desire to learn how to use them, a must.
- Provide support for technology communications.
- Undertake research for purposes of communications, as needed

Brand Positioning and Messaging
- Assist with the creation of compelling content and multimedia assets, which may include video
- Assist in content planning and execution for corporate digital channels.
- Proof reading
Internal Communication and Employee Engagement
- Support the team with internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement and alignment
- Assist with the management of a broad range of corporate communications and marketing channels, ensuring timely and relevant content for advisors, clients, prospects and employees.
Media and Executive Communications Support
- Assist in the monitoring, tracking, measurement, and reporting of media activities on a regular basis. These tasks include maintaining a media list of key official spokespersons, maintaining a list of preferred media outlets, keeping an up-to-date log of media engagements, requests and relationship-building meetings.
- Undertake media research, as needed.
- Assist in arranging media interviews, as necessary
Measures of Success
- Ensure communications activities are measurable and align to Corporate Communications & Marketing plans and the commercial priorities of the firm.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations as needed.

- What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in digital communications and social media platforms.
- Publishing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- French proficiency an asset but not a requirement

- Salary Range: $60,000-70,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
