Project Brief – Cookware Design with Detachable Handle We are developing a new cookware line with a strong focus on non-toxic, long-lasting materials and an innovative detachable handle system. I need detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models that can be handed to manufacturers in China. 1. Cookware Body Construction: Tri-ply or multi-ply. Exterior: Stainless steel (430) for induction compatibility. Core: Aluminum for even heat conduction. Interior: Titanium surface (via plasma spray or titanium ply), completely inert and non-toxic. Performance goal: Minimum 10-year lifespan, coating-free, high heat tolerance. 2. Handle System Detachable, cool-touch design. Receiver (on pan): Stainless steel insert, recessed slot with rounded edges (R ≥ 1.5 mm) for easy cleaning. Handle tongue: Stainless steel 2.5 mm, slides into receiver. Locking: Cam/bayonet mechanism (mechanical, not spring-only) bears the load. Magnet (SmCo): Alignment only, helps snap handle into place. Overmold: Silicone or phenolic resin for insulation. 3. Design Deliverables Full 2D technical drawings with tolerances, dimensions, radii. 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES). Exploded views of the detachable handle and receiver system. Manufacturing notes (materials, thickness, surface finish, coating/plasma spray areas). 4. Key Priorities Non-toxic → no PFAS, no ceramic sol-gel. Long-lasting → minimum 10-year durability. Induction compatible. Easy to clean (smooth receiver slot, no grease traps). Modular handle system for better storage and shipping.
