  • Who You Are
  • * You maintain the highest standards of cleanliness during the whole cooking process
  • * You have experience in a high-volume professional kitchen and are able to accurately follow recipes
  • * You are familiar with traditional cooking methods and also modern techniques such as sous-vide and combi ovens
  • What You'll Be Doing
  • * Preparing proteins, sides and sauces for  a variety of Ready to Eat products for a direct to consumer delivery business.
  • * Following recipes and HACCP standards as directed by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
  • * Be fully accountable for all product quality, taste, presentation as well as on time, and in full order fulfillment within a CFIA registered facility
  • What We Are Looking For
  • * Culinary Diploma required; Red Seal Certification preferred
  • * Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume kitchen or food production
  • * Valid Food Safety Certification
  • * Experience in banquet or catering services strongly preferred
  • * Organized and efficient in food production and processing
  • * A problem solver’s mentality; you see problems as opportunities and see the benefit of doing things differently
  • * Strong communication skills, ability to adjust your communication style to different audiences, relay information clearly and concisely
  • * Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • * Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and timely execution
  • What You Can Expect 
  • * Hourly Wage: $23.06
  • * Shift Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 2:00pm to 10:00pm
