We are looking for a skilled content writer with strong SEO expertise to join our team on a monthly basis. The role involves writing, optimizing, and publishing high-quality content in the CBD/cannabis niche. Responsibilities: 1. Content Writing (15+ pages/month) Write original, engaging, and informative articles (1,000–2,000 words each). Optimize content using SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, or a similar tool (you provide access). Deliver optimization reports for each article. Add relevant images, internal links, and external links. Ensure articles fit into a topical clustering strategy. 2. On-Page Optimization (15+ pages/month) Conduct keyword research & analysis. Optimize existing content for search intent and readability. Improve title tags, meta descriptions, and heading structures. Optimize images for SEO. Strengthen internal linking and external linking profiles. Implement schema markup where relevant. Provide optimization reports via SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, or similar tools. Requirements: Proven experience writing and optimizing content in the CBD/cannabis niche. Strong command of English (US) with excellent grammar and no errors. Ability to use content optimization tools (SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, etc.). Experience publishing in WordPress or a similar CMS. Understanding of topical clustering and on-page SEO best practices. Must be able to deliver on schedule and meet monthly volume requirements. Compensation: $60 per 1,000 words. Minimum of 15 new articles (1,000–2,000 words each) per month + 15 on-page optimization updates. Additional Notes: This is an ongoing, monthly engagement. We are seeking a long-term partner who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality, optimized content consistently.
