- We are seeking casual PSWs or Caregivers for a community client in the Beaverton area. The ideal candidate to be comfortable in running errands. Scheduling is flexible, but open availability is an asset.
Job Benefits
- Pay starting at $19-$21 **depending on experience
- Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week*
- 4% Vacation Pay on every pay

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per client's care plan
- Preparing meals for client and completing light housekeeping as needed
- Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Maintaining open communication with client and their family
- Monitoring care plan and adding detailed documentation with any changes and updates
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to
- PSW certification from a public college/learning centre OR additional NACC certification is preferred*
- Caregiver, HSW, or PSW experience is *required**
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
- Satisfactory professional references
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
