Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). First nations settlements. Work setting: Rural area. Aboriginal band council. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Supervise support staff. Administrative and office activities. Develop specialized rehabilitation programs. Perform administrative tasks. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Conduct follow-up assessments. Implement substance abuse treatment programs. Conduct individual and group counselling sessions. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Develop service intervention logic models and outcome measures. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate.
