Who you are: You encompass Oak Valley Health’s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills The Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation (MSH Foundation) is seeking a Community Giving Coordinator to support the delivery and execution of donor and community direct marketing programs, with a strong emphasis on digital tools, donor stewardship, and in-hospital initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Community Giving, the Coordinator helps bring fundraising campaigns and donor experiences to life through day-to-day program coordination and hands-on support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, team player who is passionate about engaging communities and building a strong culture of philanthropy. Direct Marketing · Provide administrative and coordination support for the Foundation’s community giving programs, including monthly, symbolic, and commemorative giving. · Coordinate the delivery and fulfillment of community giving programs our grateful patient giving program (MSH Heroes and Baby Wall) as well as Tribute Giving (i.e. memorial and in honour gifts). · Assist in the coordination of the Foundation’s bear necessities program – coordinating bear deliveries to patients and support for story telling. · Help create and edit digital content for online campaigns, donor emails, and fundraising pages. · Coordinate with vendors the development of solicitation content and package design for all communication channels (i.e. Direct Mail). · Support updates to online donation forms, and symbolic giving catalogues using the Foundation’s fundraising platforms (i.e. Blackbaud Luminate). · Coordinate with Marketing & Communications on content and scheduling for annual giving campaigns including execution across e-newsletters and social media. · Support data preparation and segmentation under direction of the Manager, Community Giving. · Help monitor campaign metrics, donor response rates, and basic tracking of revenue and engagement results. Foundation Wide Support · Support execution of community and hospital fundraising events, including logistics, supplies, registration, and on-site setup. · Represent the Foundation at engagement activities both within the hospital and in the community. · Act as a back-up to reception. · Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of donor records and campaign details. · Process donations and acknowledgements when required, in accordance with Foundation and CRA guidelines. Qualifications: · 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit communications, or digital marketing. · Post-secondary education in a related field (fundraising, communications, marketing, nonprofit management). · Strong writing and content creation skills; comfortable creating donor-facing materials. · Technically proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with fundraising platforms (e.g., Luminate, Raiser’s Edge) is an asset. · Familiarity with Canva, basic HTML, or graphic design tools is an asset. · Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects on tight timelines. · Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn in a mission-driven team environment. Additional Requirements: · Available to work Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour shifts, with occasional evening/weekend hours for events. · Some moderate lifting, shipping, and handling required. · Access to a car and valid Ontario G-class driver’s license is required. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.
