The Position
- This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Support Office, will report to Senior Communications and Marketing Coordinator and will drive the growth of our respite programs within the Edmonton region and support the expansion into the Calgary region. This is a unique, execution-focused role that both develops and leads sales efforts while executing targeted strategies to promote our services. This position is integral in establishing and driving our sales efforts and expanding our outreach within the community.
- The conscientious Community Engagement & Sales Coordinator will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with disabilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.
- KEY FUNCTIONS
- 1. Develop and implement B2C sales strategies, manage the full sales cycle, create customized proposals to drive partnerships and promote respite services to meet enrollment targets.
- 2. Conduct research to identify potential clients, understand market trends and assess needs of families with children with disabilities.
- 3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups to promote offerings and drive enrolment.
- 4. Monitor, analyze, and report on the sales pipeline tracking leads, follow ups and conversion rates to ensure proper outreach and engagement with potential clients
- 5. Foster relationships with enrolled families to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat engagement, and address feedback to improve services and sales processes.
- 6. Work closely with the CEO and external Strategic Communications Consultant to implement a broader organizational strategy.
- 7. Assist with additional tasks as required by the Executive Team.
- Qualifications
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2. 5+ years of experience in sales, ideally in healthcare, nonprofit services, or community-based programs.
- 3. Demonstrated ability to generate sales leads, close deals, and establish new partnerships.
- 4. Strong hands-on experience with sales strategies and execution, including lead generation, prospecting, and customer relationship management.
- 5. Proven ability to execute campaigns that complement sales efforts.
- 6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, deliver persuasive presentations, and effectively advocate for the program.
- 7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 8. Ability to collaborate effectively with the Marketing Team and external consultants to execute sales strategies.
- 9. Experience in nonprofit or healthcare sales, particularly in the disability services sector.
- 10. Knowledge of respite care services, disability services, and/or caregiver support systems is an asset.
- 11. Familiarity with CRM tools, automation platforms, and data analytics to measure and optimize sales efforts. Systems include customized ERP, Buffer, MailChimp, and Donor Perfect.
- 12. Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clear abstract as well as access to a reliable vehicle is required.
- 13. Ability to work independently, travel between locations, and manage competing priorities.
- 14. Clear police information check and intervention record check is required.
