About

  • CO-OP STUDENT – PLANNING
  • West Kelowna is a thriving city that has a rural sophistication appeal and is a haven for outdoor recreation. Sun-soaked lakeshores, agricultural charm, and access to urban jobs and living have made West Kelowna the place to be. We maintain a deep connection with our agricultural roots, and we celebrate the one-of-a-kind character of our community.
  • We are offering an opportunity for a co-op student in the Planning field to gain valuable hands-on experience by completing an 8-month work term. A 4-month work term may be considered for students in a planning-related master’s program. The position will assist with development application processing as well as coordinate research, prepare land use policies and advance key housing initiatives. Student Planners will often get experience not only with development and policy planning, but they will also build a familiarity with other municipal processes, ranging from inspecting infrastructure improvements to parks planning.
