Job Summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the clubhouse, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for members, guests, and staff. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, gym facilities, dining spaces, and outdoor patios.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Carpets cleaned and/or vacuumed
• Clubhouse washrooms must be inspected and cleaned (toilets, mirrors, counters, sinks etc.)
• Clubhouse garbage bins should be emptied and cleaned daily
• Sweep floors and Patio entrances from debris and litter
• Wash and clean windows, including door handles and kick plates
• Dust all furniture and picture frames throughout
• Clean and remove cobb webs from ceilings and corners indoors and on patios
• Clean all showers, hot tub, and steam rooms in locker rooms
• Replenish all Soap and Air freshener dispensers as required
• Fold and restock towels for locker rooms, swimming pool and gym areas
• Maintain Gym and cardio room (dust equipment and mop floors)
• Report any equipment breakdowns or deficiencies to Maintenance/Facility Manager
• Complete other unforeseen tasks needed from the manager, thus guaranteeing a quality clubhouse experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles is an asset
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Good organizational and time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and carrying cleaning supplies
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals (training provided)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other departments
• Reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent service
• Ability to handle cleaning machinery safely (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers)

Work Environment

• Primarily indoors within the clubhouse, locker rooms, gym, dining areas, and restrooms
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, requiring proper handling and safety precautions
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (moderate to heavy physical activity)
• Some outdoor cleaning tasks required, including patio maintenance and entrance upkeep

Start Date: Immediately

Hours: Full-time, Permanent, 40h/week, Mon-Fri 12pm-9pm

Salary: $21/hour

Location: Credit Valley Golf and Country Club – 2500 Old Carriage Rd, Mississauga.
