Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the civil project manager
The daily tasks of this civil project manager include:

Planning, organizing, and supervising the execution of work on construction sites.

Monitoring budgets, timelines, and approvals.

Managing non-conformities and deficiency lists.

Supervising the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Strictly ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Managing administrative documentation (time sheets, progress reports, etc.).

Communicating effectively with management and stakeholders.

Being available to travel and temporarily reside at remote sites in Northern Quebec and Ontario during the scheduled rotation.

Qualifications
Qualifications for the civil project manager
We are looking for a future civil project manager who possesses:

A university degree (in engineering or a relevant field).

A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering project management.

Solid field experience and in-depth knowledge of construction methods.

The ability to interpret technical plans and specifications with great accuracy.

Natural leadership and excellent teamwork skills.

Availability for regular travel outside of Laval (one week per month).

A strong commitment to quality and safety.
