This is for my series Cold Trail Stories, where each episode explores mysterious cases in a narrative, documentary format. The first project (a paid test) is a 10-minute documentary on the Elisa Lam case. If the collaboration goes well, this can become a long-term role for future episodes. 🧩 What I Need An editor who can: Build pacing around voiceover-driven storytelling Create clean chapter transitions Apply subtle atmospheric effects (vignette, light grain, slow pushes, etc.) Use public domain / stock footage effectively Add simple motion graphics for timelines and diagrams Follow brand guidelines (color palette, tone, signature beats) Sync to the provided voiceover + script Deliver polished cinematic cuts with smooth sound design You will receive: Full script Voiceover Brand identity guide Editor instructions PDF Reference (previous documentary) 🎨 Visual Style Examples Slow zooms, minimalism, tension-building Soft color grading (purple/blue tones) Respectful portrayal of real people (no sensationalism) Clean overlays for timelines, maps, and diagrams 📁 Workflow Requirements This is important: Must use Google Drive for file sharing Must provide WIP exports for review (low-res is fine) Must communicate clearly and provide ETA updates 🕒 Availability Must be able to complete the 10-minute project in 4–7 days Ongoing projects will be scheduled weekly or biweekly 💰 Budget Open to proposals — looking for editors who balance quality + speed. This is a paid test project. If it goes well, there is opportunity for long-term work on future episodes. 📌 To Apply — Please Include: A link to one or two videos that showcase cinematic or documentary editing Your typical turnaround time for a 10-minute video Confirmation that you can use Google Drive
