Job Description We’re producing a fun and educational activity book for girls ages 6–8 and need a creative freelancer who can help design and illustrate a wide variety of puzzles and activities. The book will be published in print, so pages must be clean, engaging, and formatted for 8.5 x 11 trim size. This project requires someone who understands what kids in this age group enjoy, and who can combine puzzle design + kid-friendly illustration into pages that are both entertaining and easy to follow. Scope of Work Develop and illustrate ~100 activity pages (examples: mazes, word searches, spot-the-difference, hidden pictures, riddles, logic puzzles, drawing/coloring challenges, etc.). Ensure activities are age-appropriate, replayable, and fun. Create simple, bold line illustrations (no shading/overly detailed art) so kids can also color on the pages. Deliver files as print-ready PDF + source files. Deliverables ~100 black & white interior activity pages. Consistent illustration style across the book. Editable source files (AI/PSD/Procreate/Indesign etc.) + print-ready PDF. (Optional) Cover design if you also do covers. Requirements Prior experience creating children’s activity or puzzle books. Ability to design puzzles that are fun, clear, and suitable for ages 6–8. Strong illustration skills (all art must be original, no AI or stock). Willing to work under NDA + Work-for-Hire (all rights belong to us). Good communication and ability to follow detailed outlines.
