Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Child Care Teachers to join our team at a new center close to the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong communication and team work skills as we build the program from the ground up! This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environet: our focus is on healthy food, outside play, and play based learning. We have an AWESOME staff already and are looking to add more teachers!

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports childhood development and early intervention strategies.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
• Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• High school diplomas excepted, but degrees in early childhood or education are prioritized for interviews.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in behavior management and understanding of childhood development principles.
• Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to various developmental stages.
