Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. This role involves engaging children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their well-being, and supporting their developmental needs. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to foster positive relationships and communicate effectively about the children's progress.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Foster a love for learning through teaching basic concepts such as numbers, colors, shapes, and letters.

Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage behaviors effectively while promoting positive relationships among peers.
- Experience in teaching or facilitating learning activities for young children.
- Familiarity with caregiving practices that support infants and toddlers' needs.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children's lives through quality care and education.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
