Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cheese Maker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cheese production, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and food safety standards.

Vacancy Status: This is a new role created to support our company’s growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Make cheese according to established processes and procedures.
• Receive milk.
• Mix ingredients properly to avoid waste and ensure a quality product.
• Observe thermometer, adjust steam valve, and start agitator at prescribed temperature for specified time.
• Coordinate sample testing of milk for proper levels of acidity with Quality Assurance laboratory.
• Taste, smell, feel, and observe sample plug of cheese for quality.
• Record amounts of ingredients used, test results, and time cycles and adjust as needed.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Operate machinery and equipment properly and in a safe manner.
• Provide direction and assistance to production line workers.
• Special projects or other duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Secondary Education And/Or Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50-$25.00 per hour
