  • Ready to shape the future of better-for-you snacking in a unique role blending Category and Marketing?   We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded Category Development & Marketing Manager to lead the charge in our Better For You (BFY) portfolio. It’s a rapidly growing segment with brands like Freedom Foods, Sunsol, Heritage Mills & Sam’s Pantry with ranges across cereals and nutritious snacks.

Sitting at the unique intersection of category development and marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing insight-led category strategies, building customer partnerships, and executing marketing plans that elevate our brands and accelerate growth.

  • What Your Days Look Like 
  • Lead the development and execution of the BFY category strategy, grounded in consumer and shopper insights. 
  • Partner with Account Teams to bring integrated go-to-market plans and customer engagement strategies to life. 
  • Drive in-store activation and promotional strategies that reflect the values and positioning of BFY brands.   
  • Lead our BFY marketing team who champion innovation, marketing activations and strategies to accelerate growth in BFY 
  • Represent BFY in strategic customer engagements being the lead representative at all BFY reviews and join business planning sessions. 
  • Successful leading and developing a team of 4 across category and marketing. 
  • Ingredients for Success 
  • 7–10+ years’ experience in category, marketing or commercial roles within FMCG 
  • Strong grounding in category management, shopper insights and customer-facing execution. 
  • Experience partnering with major supermarkets and leveraging critical shopper data and insights 
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial outcomes through integrated category and marketing strategies. 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience – ideally with team management responsibilities. 
  • Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on environments – you’ll execute while influencing longer-term planning. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for consumer trends, innovation and purpose-driven brands.
