Rockyview Group Inc. - experts in building envelope service and repairs is looking for a full time, year round Experienced Carpenter.

Salary range $35 - 45/hr depending on skills.

Skills, Knowledge and Personal Characteristics

• Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
• Basic electrical and plumbing systems knowledge to identify and address potential issues
• Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Source materials to suit the job specifics
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals
• Strong communication skills with property residents and team members
• Self-starter with good time management skills
• Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a valid Driver's License with clean driving record; willingness to travel to local site locations
• Be available to work overtime and on weekends on occasion
• Adhere to safety protocols and RVG / OHS standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
• Ability to travel up and down ladders
• Must be able to carry a ladder
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work outdoors, at height and in tight spaces (crawlspace/attics)
• All other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

• Carpentry: 2 years (required)
