• Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, and coworkers.
• Monitor and evaluate EKG tracings before, during, and after exercise testing.
• Supervise and coordinate exercise testing protocols, document changes in patient status, treatments, or prescribed medications and response to treatment.
• Evaluates patients for stress testing, reviews patient charts and interprets physician orders.
• Terminates tests as may be required by protocols or patient tolerance.
• Documents changes in patient status, treatments or prescribed medications and response to treatment.
• Coordinates and schedules stress techs in order to provide adequate staffing levels.
• Initiates service calls as needed and schedules preventative maintenance when appropriate.
• Evaluates supply levels and orders supplies as needed.
• Uses computer system to process studies for charge and billing purposes to ensure physicians interpret EKGs, and to complete documentation in patient’s electronic record.
• Records blood pressures and oxygen saturations, observes patient’s condition, and observes monitor for indications of positive tests or other complications.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned or requested.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course or challenge exam
• BLS required
• EKG course or certification required
• ACLS required
• Must complete Radiation Safety training within 1 month of hire and renew annually
