About
experienced Canadian accountant who can help with both personal and corporate tax filings, as well as setting up and managing payroll for a small business. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file Canadian personal tax returns (T1) • Prepare and file Canadian corporate tax returns (T2) • Advise on tax planning and compliance • Set up payroll for a small corporation (including CRA registration, remittances, and guidance on ongoing processes) • Provide ongoing accounting support as needed Requirements: • Must be based in Canada and familiar with Canadian tax law • Strong experience with both personal and corporate tax filings • Experience setting up payroll and handling CRA remittances • CA designation preferred but not mandatory if you have proven expertise • Strong communication and ability to explain processes clearly Project Type: Ongoing (starting with tax filings and payroll setup) Budget: Open to proposals - please include your hourly rate or flat-fee structure for tax filings + payroll setup.
