CAD Drafter for Ongoing Revisions (Women Applicants Encouraged) About the Role: We’re a Canada-based interior design studio looking for a detail-oriented CAD drafter to support ongoing residential renovation and interior projects. You’ll work from marked-up PDFs and written notes to revise or prepare client-ready drawing sets in DWG + PDF format. Who We’re Looking For: -Strong AutoCAD drafting skills -Excellent written English — must be able to interpret detailed notes clearly -Familiarity with imperial measurements (feet/inches) -Knowledge of North American sheet/drawing standards is a strong asset -Comfortable with overnight turnaround and communicating during overlap between 9 AM–5 PM MST (UTC−7) Ideal Work Rhythm: -We send project revisions at the end of the Alberta workday -You complete updates during your day and deliver files by our next morning -Brief overlap period (approx. 9–11 AM MST) for clarifications Tools & Deliverables: -AutoCAD (DWG) files + combined PDF sheets ready for client printing -Consistent layer usage following our template (provided) -Ability to apply revisions consistently across sheets (e.g., adjusting text sizes globally) To Apply: Please include the following in your proposal: -Your location and availability relative to MST -A brief description of your CAD drafting experience (interiors or architecture preferred) -Two sample sheets of work you drafted (PDF or image format) -Your hourly rate in USD and typical turnaround time Our goal is to support women in regions where remote technical roles can provide meaningful economic and personal opportunity.
