We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our team of seasoned and motivated professionals.

Under the supervision of the purchasing management, the successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders.
• Ensure proper approvals have been obtained.
• Inquire with multiple vendors for price and availabilities to ensure favorable pricing and request quotes.
• Purchase of seafood and fish
• Follow up with suppliers regarding current orders, dates of delivery and custom documentation, if applicable
• Ensure inventory levels are sufficient to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications:

• You are a highly motivated, results-oriented individual.
• 2 years or more of experience in P2P sales, preferably in the agri-food/seafood industry.
• You are entrepreneurial and are self motivated.
• You are ready to make a meaningful impact on the company’s future.
• French and English spoken and written.
