Roles & Responsibilities:

Product Ownership :

  • Act as the Product Owner for trade finance Working capital finance solutions, managing the product backlog and prioritizing features aligned with business goals.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for PO Financing, Invoice Discounting, Working Capital Finance, trade loans
  • Must have knowledge on SWIFT messages relating to Trade Finance

Business Analysis:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from global corporate banking stakeholders.
  • Create detailed functional specifications for trade finance modules including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bills, and Collections.

Domain Expertise:

  • Leverage deep knowledge in trade finance instruments such as:
  • Purchase Order Financing
  • Invoice Discounting
  • Working Capital Finance
  • Export/Import Financing
  • Letters of Credit
  • Bank Guarantees
  • Bills for Collection
  • Collections and Settlements

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams technology, compliance, operations, and relationship managers across global markets.
  • Serve as the liaison between business users and development teams to ensure solution alignment with market-specific regulatory and operational needs.
  • Solution Design & Delivery:
  • Support solution design, UAT planning, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure scalability and compliance of trade finance products across multiple geographies.
  • Market & Regulatory Awareness:
  • Maintain awareness of global trade finance trends, regulatory updates (e.g., UCP 600, SWIFT standards), and market-specific requirements.
  • Agile Delivery:
  • Work in Agile environments, contribute to sprint planning, and manage epics/user stories related to trade finance offerings.
