We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Business Analyst IV to join the Finance Operations Leadership team of a major financial institution. This role is a critical backfill focused on driving process improvement, managing core platform tickets, and supporting complex operations for financial systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience with data visualization (Power BI), scripting, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving. This is an exciting opportunity to gain high visibility and exposure to core enterprise platforms like Oracle and ARCS.
This role is a technical, hands-on position responsible for providing BAU (Business As Usual) support and driving technological improvements within Finance Operations. You will act as the key liaison between Finance stakeholders and technology teams, with approximately 30-40% stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Support & Maintenance: Manage day-to-day tickets, technical mapping, and resolution of user issues for critical financial platforms (including potential exposure to ARCS and Oracle/Orcel).
Technical Analysis & Scripting: Apply strong technical skills and knowledge of scripts (3–4 years of experience) to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve operational processes.
Process Improvement: Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives, aligning changes to business needs and strategic objectives.
Data Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI (3–4 years of experience) to support financial operations and leadership insights.
Requirements Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of business requirements, from planning and elicitation to analysis, documentation, and managing traceability.
Month-End Activities: Provide increased support during month-end periods, which may involve working the first and second weekend of the quarter.
Risk & Governance: Proactively identify and manage requirements risks, issues, and assumptions, ensuring adherence to enterprise project governance and quality standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Experience: 8–10 years of overall professional experience, with a significant background in a technical field.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Technical Expertise: Exceptional technical skills and ability to work with technical systems and developers.
Power BI: 3–4 years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards with Power BI.
Scripting Knowledge: 3–4 years of strong working knowledge of scripts (e.g., Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.).
Soft Skills: Great communication skills, high attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a positive disposition to manage tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience with the ARCS platform (approx. 1 year).
Experience with Oracle/Orcel financial platforms.
Prior leadership skills or experience mentoring team members.
Advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
