Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Tasks: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of work experience: Cleaning. Equipment: Power tools. Power lawn mowers. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots.
