I’m looking for a developer to build EthosGuard Lite, a Chrome/Edge browser extension that intercepts user prompts before they are submitted to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. The extension should: Intercept prompts before submission. Evaluate against local JSON/YAML rules (PASS / WARN / BLOCK). Display inline warnings/tooltips near the input box. Provide a simple options page to toggle categories and import/export rules. Default to no logging; optional local-only logs if enabled. No cloud storage, no telemetry. Tech: Manifest V3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React for options page. This is a privacy-first project and will be built in milestones: Prototype extension (prompt interception + inline warning). Config UI + rule import/export. Hardening + Chrome Web Store submission. Preference for developers in Nova Scotia, Canada. Python familiarity is a plus (future GuardrailsAI integration).
