Project Overview I run a local events newsletter and need a hybrid event collector that automatically pulls event data from reliable sources into a single Google Sheet or Airtable. The goal: budget-friendly, API-first, low-maintenance solution. We will NOT be scraping Facebook. Scope of Work 1. APIs (preferred whenever possible) 2. Eventbrite API (event search by location/date) 3. AllEvents API (city + category filters) 4. Meetup GraphQL API (if possible, otherwise propose alternatives) 5. Local Websites (no API available): Scrape ~5–10 city/venue/community websites (static HTML preferred). Extract: Title, Date, Time, Venue, City, URL, Short Description, Ticket/Registration Link. Ensure scraping is lightweight (Requests + BeautifulSoup or similar), not Selenium/Playwright unless absolutely required. Data Processing: 1. Deduplicate events (by title+date+venue) 2. Filter by city/region: Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, Maple, Woodbridge 3. Output to Google Sheets or Airtable
