Responsibilities
-Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including creating and sending invoices, posting payments accurately, and performing diligent follow-up on outstanding client accounts.
-Oversee all accounts payable functions, such as processing vendor invoices, verifying expenses, scheduling payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
-Conduct various and sometimes complex account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts, to ensure financial accuracy.
-Process and record incoming payments and receipting applications with a high degree of precision.
-Prepare and issue client invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
-Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and vendors regarding financial matters, handling inquiries professionally and effectively via email and phone.
-Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical, for auditing and reporting purposes.
-Assist the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
-Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear correspondence with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
-Proficient multi-tasking abilities, capable of managing several projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-A strong sense of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
-Proactive and resourceful approach to challenges within the finance & accounting domain.
-Reliable transportation is required as this location is not transit accessible, just outside the city of Saskatoon
