Your Key Deliverables (The Expectations) We believe in clear expectations. Your primary mission will be to take ownership of core platform features. Success in this role means you will: Deliver a Production-Ready XRPL Service: Architect and build the primary integration layer that securely manages accounts, signs and submits transactions. Build the Core APIs: Using Node.js and Python, you will deliver a scalable and secure API for our front-end, handling all business logic for contract creation, invoicing, and user management. Launch the User-Facing Dashboard: Implement a clean, intuitive, and responsive React application where users can manage their contracts, view work progress, and manage payments. Own a Feature, End-to-End: Take full "code-to-cloud" ownership of a major product vertical: contract to invoicing to payment. Co-Own System Security: Actively contribute to security audits, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure the platform is robust, safe, and reliable. How We Work (Our Team & Culture) We are a small, focused team building from scratch. We know that the "how" is just as important as the "what." Here is what you can expect: Communication is Our Priority: We are a hybrid team and default to asynchronous communication (Jira, Google workspace) to protect your deep-work time. We maintain clear, written documentation of all key decisions. We have 2 short, focused video syncs per week for planning and complex problem-solving. No-meeting-Fridays are a goal. Our Workflow: We run a light, agile-inspired process. We plan in one month sprints, but we are flexible and adapt to new information quickly. We value practical solutions and iterative progress over rigid ceremony. We use pull requests and peer reviews for all code to maintain quality and share knowledge. Autonomy & Ownership: We hire experts and trust them. You will not be micro-managed. We define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) together, and you will have the autonomy to architect the best solution to achieve them. Your voice is critical in shaping both the product and our engineering culture. The Skills Required (Our Core Tech Stack) Full Stack Proficiency: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development. XRP Ledger (XRPL): Demonstrable, hands-on experience building applications on the XRPL. You must understand its transaction types, account structures, and operational best practices (e.g., experience with xrpl.js or xrpl-py). Back-End Expertise: Strong proficiency in Node.js (with TypeScript) and/or Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) for building robust APIs. Front-End Expertise: Strong proficiency in React and its ecosystem (e.g., Hooks, Redux/Context API, React Router). Database Knowledge: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases. Self-Starter: A proactive and autonomous problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Direct experience with XRPL Hooks. Experience in the FinTech, legal-tech, or supply chain industries. Familiarity with other blockchain ecosystems (Hyperledger Fabric). Knowledge of decentralized identity (DID) or verifiable credentials (VCs). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP). What We Offer A competitive salary.
